Week  25 – Legos new collector’s item „Everyone is Awesome“

Lego has released an LGBTQIA „Everyone is Awesome“ set.  LGBTQIA stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual and Asexual people. The set, intended rather as a collector’s set, includes 11 monochrome figures with different hairstyles in the colours of the rainbow – inspired by the colours of the rainbow flag – and figures in black and brown colours „to represent the wide diversity of everyone within the community“.  There is also a pale blue, a white and a pink figure to represent the transgender community and a purple drag queen.
