Conditional Sentence Typ 1 – if clause

    • • steht der Hauptsatz im ‚Simple Present‘
    • • und im Hauptsatz steht: ‚will‘ oder ‚won’t‘.

 

Positive Sätze

• • If-clause
    • • If + Simple Present 
    • • + Hauptsatz: will + Infinitiv

• • Beispiele
    • • If I am in Paris, I’ll write you a postcard. (Wenn ich in Paris bin, schreibe ich Ihnen eine Postkarte.)
    • • If school is over, I will go home. (Wenn die Schule vorbei ist, werde ich nach Hause gehen.)
    • • If the sun shines tomorrow, I will go to school on foot. (Wenn morgen die Sonne scheint, werde ich zu Fuß zur Schule gehen.)
    • • If you pass the exam, I will invite you to dinner. (Wenn Sie die Prüfung bestehen, werde ich Sie zum Essen einladen.)
    • • If I get the time off, we’ll go on the trip. (Wenn ich frei bekomme, werden wir die Reise antreten.)

 

Negative Sätze

    • • If we take the bus, we won’t arrive in time. (Wenn wir den Bus nehmen, werden wir nicht rechtzeitig ankommen.)
    • • If it rains tomorrow, I won’t go to school on foot. (Wenn es morgen regnet, werde ich nicht zu Fuß zur Schule gehen.)
    • • If you pass the exam, you won’t have to take a second exam. (Wenn Sie die Prüfung bestehen, müssen Sie keine zweite Prüfung ablegen.)
    • • If I don’t get the holiday, we won’t make the trip. (Wenn ich den Urlaub nicht bekomme, werden wir die Reise nicht antreten.)
